Bangi Kopitiam is originally from Malaysa and is coined from 2 languages, “Bangi” a Malay town in Malaysia and “Kopitiam” means Coffee Shop in Chinese Hokkien dialect. Bangi Kopitiam is the brainchild of four childhood friends who wants to bring back the Malaysian “Muhibbah” spirit which they richly experienced during their groing up years back in “kampong”. Thus, Bangi Kopitiam would like to reflect those “Muhibbah” concept in their range of food, including Nasi lemak from the Malays, Mee Udang from the Chinese and Asam Laksa from Baba and Nyonya community.
