Locupan Asian Kitchen

Locupan lovers wajib datang ke tempat makan ini! Aneka varian locupan mulai dari kuah hingga goreng ada di sini. Beberapa menu spesialnya, yaitu locupan goreng kemangi, locupan goreng balacan, locupan sapo tahu, locupan babi spesial, dan locupan babi sapo. Kisaran harga per porsinya mulai dari Rp 29k hingga Rp 42k. Teksturnya kenyal dan racikan bumbunya pas banget sesuai lidah Indonesia. Nikmat!

This has to be the best locupan i ever had. Ordered salted egg locupan (locupan telur asin) at IDR 40K and mie pangsit. Portion could be said in medium size, taste sooooo GOOD! Tasty! A bit oily yes since it is a fried locupan, but the texture, spices, temperature all perfect. As for the price, rather expensive but it is worth it! The noodle was good also but you should try its locupan.

It is not easy to find locupan in Jakarta. A lot of people also unfamiliar with it. I'm impressed by Locupan Lovers who dared to put Locupan as their hero menu. If you are new with Locupan, it looks like udon but somewhat thicker and are made from two kind of base. The rice locupan and the starch locupan. The latter is somewhat more elastic in a way. It will give you a little fight when you eat it. Here, I love their Stir Fried Locupan (Locupan Goreng) and Locupan Kemangi (Fried Locupan with Basil). You can probably see now that I'm probably bias toward fried stuff. They are so good, but the latter one is particularly special for me. It's wonderfully wrapped in with basil scent, dominating the nose while on the tongue what you get is less playful in taste. Just a basic duo of sweet and salty. It's what makes it different though. As for the service, I wouldn't expect less or more from this 'ruko' kind of joint. As long as I got my food in less than 10 minutes, its well ventilated with air-con, then I'm good. You should give it a try if you haven't had any Locupan before. ;)
