Rayjin Teppanyaki Dining Bar

I prefer Rayjin before they transform it to proper restaurant. It was a fine little izakaya with selection of teppanyaki that is grilled in front of you, also a good selection of Japanese sake and beer. Now unfortunately is not anymore. Many of my favorite also cutted from the menu. Too bad. There’s no one who could speak Japanese (even the chef can’t speak Japanese) so the Japanese shoutings is just a gimmick. All food was delicious, but so disappointed with their Black Truffle Don that was suggested to me bu their chef. It’s so expensive (IDR 185k if I’m not mistaken) and yet so sweet I can’t barely differ it from a dessert. Avoid to order it with all cost.

the meltique teppanyaki was really dreamy... the beef was very juicy and delicious... very recommended
